Welcome Vacation!!

Hi everyone!!

Feels like I am blogging after years!! It's been so long , and I missed it the most.  I had been very busy with a lot of things, and school being the first.  Finally finals are over, and now I am preparing to go back home for my winter vacation with my sister.  It is gonna be such a great trip.  I can't wait to get there and do all the things I want to.  Yay!!

Anyways that was the news...I am sure a lot of you are still taking your finals and a lot of us are done already...yeppie!!!  Good luck to those who are still taking finals this week.  Hang in there!!  Christmas break is waiting for ya'll... a month long of no books!!

So today I posted pics of when I went shopping for some presents for my parents and cousins back home.

Here you go I hope you like it!

I hope you enjoyed reading my blog after so long.

Tip # 9:  I know everybody is experiencing chapped lips right now.  After all its winter time and I would suggest not buying flavored lip balms, which may increase irritation by encouraging you to lick your lips, and also try avoiding the medicated ones as well, they may cause allergic reactions.

Tip # 10: If anyone has "chicken skin" (goose-bump) like appearance, keratosis pilaris affects, the doctors recommend intensive moisturizing, applying lotion after shower every time.  You should apply lotion several other times daily to keep your skin smooth and slowly you can get rid of the chicken skin.

Mixing the darker side!!

Hi friends!!

I hope your week went pretty good!! Tomorrow is Friday and it's 11-11-11;how cool is that?  any plans you guys??

This week was pretty busy for me, I had to work on my radio ad and commercial for my advertising class which in fact was a lot of fun.  My group in this class is super productive and fun!! I love it, the class and my group!! :)

Talking about the weather, it is still not too cold here in Dallas, so I still have not gotten my coats out for the winter, weird right? It's November already, and we are still having 70F weather. LOL I guess its a good thing. I personally do not like winters but I love the winter getup.  I get very excited about boots, coats, hats, scarfs, fur, leather......and much more  :)

Anyways, this is what I have for you today, an outfit you could wear on a date, dinner, to any event, concert, or even to a party!!
Enjoy!!

Dress:  Guess
Purse:  Chanel
Boots and Jacket:  F21
Necklace:  Charlotte Russe

Before the tip section let me update you about the shampoo I was using...Nioxin #5 which was mentioned earlier in my blog. GOOD NEWS:  My hair is not shedding like before at all.  My hair loss has decreased tremendously.  It has worked for me, I can count my hair fall now, which is amazing.  I hope it worked for you guys as well.

Tip # 8: If you use makeup brushes to do your makeup everyday, then it is a good idea to wash them at least weekly to avoid all the bacteria on you blush, foundation, powder, eye shadow brushes.  It will prevent you from clogged pores and help you stay acne free.  You should wash those brushes like you are washing your hair, shampoo them and condition them. Then, let them air dry.  You will notice that your makeup will look smoother and flawless after you have done that.  Good Luck!! <3

It's just another casual day!!

Happy Thursday guys!! :)

The weekend is here!! Yay!! for some of us and not so Yay for some right? lol

Today's blog post features a simple casual wear that you can pull off everyday. To give your outfit some uniqueness, you can throw on a statement necklace, bracelets, earrings, or shoes.  You can go beyond what you wear everyday!! I just threw on a statement necklace, tucked in my sweater and threw on a belt to revamp my outfit. I hope you will like this post and leave me with some comments and concerns.

Sweater: Macy's
Shoes: Steve Madden
Necklace: Charlotte Russe
Jeans: Pacific Sunwear
Belt: A random shop in Nepal

Tip # 7:  Vitamins:

Sweet Potatoes, Carrots, are a great source of Vitamin A, which is remarkable anti-aging, anti wrinkle vitamin.  They work like Retin A, which is an anti aging ingredient.

Vitamin E is good for skin and hair, you can use skin moisturizers that contain vitamin E.  A good source of Vitamin E are brown rice, nuts, wheat germ, and leafy green vegetables.

Tomatoes are rich in Vitamin A, C and potassium, all great for beautiful skin.
If your nails are dry and brittle, you have a deficiency of Vitamin A, and calcium in your body.

Last but not the least, it is recommended you quit smoking if you are a smoker.  Smoking reduces the level on vitamin C in your body, which is a key ingredient that make your skin look younger, plump, moist and healthy.  After you have become a smoker for a while, you are most likely to get wrinkles around you lip area, with a discoloration on your lip as well.  Also, results shows that eventually your face will start loosing it's charm, and will age rapidly.

I hope you enjoyed reading my post.
Thank you all.

Neutral Love!!

Hi guys!!

I am pretty positive everybody is starting this 1st day of November with your best attitude.  I know I am...  I can't believe my semester will be over within a few weeks.  Yay!!! Can't wait!! I have so many plans for December :)

I have so many great things to share with you guys, but because my school work requires so much attention, I don't get enough time to blog everyday, which I'd love to.

Anyways, this past weekend my family came to visit me and my sister to celebrate one of our great festivals, TIHAR.  We had so much fun together.  I just did not want the weekend to end....lol.  So,I wore this outfit while I was hanging out with them that Saturday evening.  I hope you guys will enjoy it.

Blazer, sweater: Forever 21
Shoes: Alternative Outfitters Vegan Boutique
Clutch: Jessica Simpson
Tights: Forever 21

Tip # 6:  Are you suffering from dark circles?  Dark circles can be caused due to allergies, dehydration, fatigue, nasal congestion, sun exposure or thinning skin. You can use cold tea bags, potato extract( juice) and cold soy milk on cotton ball, on your eyes as  a natural remedy to cool down the  irritated skin under there.  For more intense treatment use an eye cream containing licorice and hyaluronic acid.  These ingredients helps reduce dark circles. Products containing retinols may help with fine lines under eyes, and thinning skin.  Sleep with a pillow at night which will elevate your head and prevent fluids from collecting under your eyes.  You can also use concealer to cover them up, buy a shade lighter concealer than your foundation for best results.

Outfit of the day!!

Hello guys!!!

I hope you are having a wonderful week.  TGIF!!! right?

I was busy this week with projects for two of my classes. I can't believe my favorite month is almost over, but this weekend is Halloween, and I am sure everyone is excited.  This year, for Halloween  I am thinking of dressing up as a devil , or a cute cat, what do y'all think?
Anyways, I went shopping on Tuesday, and I wore this romper.  I love the combination of black, teal/green, and the neutral wedges.   I hope you will enjoy this!!

Romper: Forever 21
Shoes: Macy's
Ring: Miz
Necklace: Clairs

Tip # 4:  You can get rid of your blackheads by exfoliating your skin, steaming it, and extracting the blackheads with an extractor.  Getting a facial every six to eight weeks is recommended.   If you do not have time for facials try blackhead strips.
Tip # 5: Your split ends on your hair will not mend, or repair once they are split.  The only way to get rid of them is to cut them off.  Get a trim by going to the right hairstylist, and tell them exactly what you want.   If you love the length of your hair then just take a sharp pair of scissors, and start cutting them bad boys off a quarter inch above the split.  If you are determined you can get rid of them in few hours.  Remember you have to keep up with it, every six to eight weeks, or whenever you notice them coming back.

DJ got us falling in love again!! :)

Hello,

How are you guys doing this Sunday evening? I hope everybody had a great weekend. This weekend, my friends and I went out for my birthday!! It was a very exciting night. I had so much fun. For my outfit of the night, I went sequins happy...lol!!! I am obsessed with sequins, glitter and anything shiny right now.

I got this sequins skirt for my birthday from one of my friends. So, I thought I could pair it up with something for the night. Then, I went to the mall and bought this beautiful red sequins top. For your sequins outfit to look the best, you do not have to add a lot of jewelry or anything else because the outfit itself is a statement and grabs a lot of attention. You could just add a ring and some earrings to it. Remember : You do not want to overdo it. Also, I did my hair straight for the night, I normally do not flat iron my hair, but this time I just wanted to be a little different. :)

I hope you guys will like it!! And sorry about the Tiara and sash on my outfit, forgot to remove them in some pics!!

Outfit: Forever 21
Shoes: Maurices

Tip # 3: Remove all your makeup before going to bed with a makeup remover or face wash, tone it with a toner that will not strip your natural moisture away ( alcohol free recommended), and moisturize your face with a night cream. Then, when you wake up in the morning, wash you face again with your favorite face wash and use a sunscreen moisturizer with at least SPF 30 thirty minutes before you get out in the sun. This will get you skincare regimen into track, and reduce the number of breakouts.

Have a great start on you week!!

XOXO
